Description for Lotus Super Seven 1960
This is a newly built Locost / Lotus Super Seven replica. EBAY doesn't like the VIN assigned by SCDMV. Picture of the title is shown. Titled in SC as a 2014 Lotus 7 roadsterIt is a standard book frame built of 1" square tubing. fully mig welded and skinned in aluminum. I painted it Daytona Blue Metallic Lacquer on top of 2k primer. The car is powered by a 2000 Yamaha R1 with standard carb rack. Transmission is the Yamaha 6 speed. That puts over 140 horsepower in a 1400 lb car. The engine came from an insurance auction bike with less than 6k milesReverse using a Quaife reversing unit. You can remove the quaife and shed a few pounds if you want. Front suspension is fully adjustable Speedway motors upper control arm connected to Toyota Celica spindles using Celica disc brakes and adjustable coilovers. Rear suspension is a 4 link setup with fully adjustable coilovers. Toyota Celica live axle with 3. 70 posiWheels and tires are Celica aluminum rims with Yokohama rubber. Also comes with a set of Toyota steelies with a good but old set of tires that you can turn into black marks and smoke. Afco dual master cylinders and Wilwood adjustable bias pedal set. Brake lines and hoses. fuel lines. and cooling are all new. Like I said earlier in the listing. this is a BRAND NEW BUILD. All the lights and signals work and it comes with a clear South Carolina Title. SCDMV treat all home builds and kit cars as Reconstructed.
