A very rare opportunity to buy an original condition 1985 Mazda Rx-7 GSL-SE in a white and burgundy combo (only 5% cars were white with burgundy). i will like to give all the details and explain the car to the best of my knowledge. I bought this car from its third owner i believe and it sat in his garage for over 7 years. I wanted to buy it and restore it and always loved the GSL-SE version of RX-7. I have put a lot of money in the car but lately havent been driving the car a lot and i rather have someone enjoy it after all the repairs i have done. The body is in amazing condition with no accident history. No rust. Paint is original and its still shiny. i would rate the body a solid 8 considering its age. A proper detail would make it a 9 for sure. Interior has no rips. Seats have no rips. Carpet is clean and i would rate it a sold 8. 5. A deep clean can easily make it a 9. No cracks in the dash. All options work. Here is a detail of the work done. Records included. 1. The car sat for many years. i had my mechanic go through the entire car to fix the things necessary for it to pass smog and run. 2. The previous owner had the motor apart and he overhauled the motor about 5 years ago but the car sat after that. 3. New used tranny was put in at 169k. Bill was $1500 or so. Record included of the repair. 4. My mechanic fixed heater hose. new brakes. new smog pump. air control valve. oil meter pump. new mazda starter. wiper switch. new Hella headlights. wiper blades. driver side headlight seembly. New fluids. New hoses. New injectors. Repaired the AC (which blows ice cold). Power windows were fixed. 5. The car passed emissions with no issues. 6. Once the car passed emissions. I had the car transferred and is in my name and i have the title. 7. I also had the radiator flushed. 8. I put in brand new factory correct tires and have hardly 200 miles on them. 9. Factory stereo was not operational. i installed a Pioneer AVH-X2600BT with blue tooth. Cost $655. 00 with install. I also like to mention few things which can be fixed down the road to improve. The wipers are temperamental. They work fine but get stuck so i have taken the fuse out. Weather moldings on the doors are getting old. The suspension is original (but has no issues). It still corners great and no rattles or weird noises but i believe in full disclosures to the best of my knowledge. Windshield has a slight crack in it. A new one is $155 but it never bothered me. Clock pigmentation is not that good but is still operational. All electronics work. Its a solid car and took me to Las Vegas and back with no issues. Ran so strong. Any Mazda enthusiast would be happy to find an original unmolested GSL-SE.
