This car has been garage kept and hasn't been driven in the Iowa winters. This was a summer time only car for the owner.

To start, his car is in very good driver quality. Its rare to find anearly 80's car that hasn't been "messed with" in some way or another. This car is pretty much as it was from the factory. The underside of this car is surprisingly nice no rust at all!Even the factory original exhaust is in great shape. All emissions controls accounted for.

It runs and drives excellent and I believe just about every feature works. The only item I haven't tried is the rear defrost and cruise control. However, don't see any reason these shouldn't work as nothing looks to be disconnected or broken.

For the past few years this car was stored due to needing a set of tires and sincetheowner had another car, t wasn't used. To get this car up and running again the following maintenance was performed:

• New 185/70R13 on original Alloy wheels
• New battery
• New radiator hoses and radiator cap
• New v-belts (alternator,ac and air-pump)
• New Bosch spark plugs
• New distributor cap and rotor
• New NGK spark plug wires
• New brake master cylinder
• New u-joint in drive shaft
• Oil pan re-sealed
• Transmission pan re-sealed
• All new fluids including:
  • Engine oil and filter
  • Transmissionfluid and filter
  • Radiator antifreeze 50/50 mix
  • Rear end85/90W with limited slip additive
• Fuel tank removed and cleaned out
• Fuel filters replaced
• Brakes and rotors inspected
• interior and exterior detailed

All of this hasbeen done in the last 500 miles.

The exterior of this car was re-painted in the late 80'sor early 90's. Due to a battery exploding. Apparentlywhile in storage, ne winter, he owner of the storage building tried to use this car to jump start another car in storage, ext to it, nd due to a short in the other car blew this cars battery up.It looks to be a decent re-spray and there is little evidence of the battery accident.However,the paint jobis showing it's age. There are a rock chips on the front and a few very minor dings here and there.

All of the glass is in excellent shape.Weatherstripping and trimlook excellent as well.

The interior is pretty nice as well.The drivers seat is showing a little wear on thelower left side bolster. The drivers door panel is also a little tattered on thetop due tothe sun. Thedash is excellent no signs of cracking or fading. The passenger seat is nice as is the carpet. The carpet andplastic in the cargo area is a little faded but presentable. All the gauges work. The only item that is not 100%with regards to the gaugesare the dash lights. They are a little hit or miss.This seems to be due to the dimmer knob for these. Ifyou wiggle the knob enough you can get them to come on and stay on.

As you can see from the photos the engine bay is very clean.The engine runs excellent. Not a miss or a sputter. Some people seem to be intimidated by the rotary engines however this is not one to be concerned about. This car has been owned and driven as a commuter car with mostly highway miles (Stanwood, A to Cedar Rapids, A) AKA a pretty easy life.
