Description for Mazda RX-7 1983
For sale is a well cared for Rx-7 GSL I've owned since 2001. The GSL was the top of the line trim offered in 1983 coming equipped with four wheel disc brakes, limited slip differential, power windows, cruise, power antenna, A/C, rear window defrost and wiper.
Never in a collision but was repainted once in 2003 with high quality prep/finish work and paint/clear coat matching the original K3 Sunbeam Silver. Windshield molding, drip rails and wiper arms have been powder coated satin black. Tinted windows, a glass sunroof, an oem IMSA rear spoiler and classic Weds Autobahn wheels accent the appearance. Always garaged when not being driven.
The 12a motor received a complete rebuild with new rotor housings at 110,648 miles by Jerry Wright owner of JLC Racing, the best rotary shop in Seattle. A mild street port was performed and a new Exedy clutch kit installed during the rebuild.
All factory emissions, with the exception of the exhaust have been retained, and the four bbl Nikki carb is stock. The exhaust consists of a Racing Beat collected header, a Rotary Performance hi-flow cat, and a Racing Beat street port muffler.
The car runs, sounds and handles as good as it looks.
