Overview
Car is street legal and will probably be the fastest street legal car you have ever driven. I have owned the car since 1997 and am the second owner. Over the years I have built the car to maintain the sequential system and have as much power off the line as possible. A single turbo was never used due to the lag time. A single turbo will never build boost as fast as this sequential system build specifically for this car by BNR turbos. I wanted the fastest car in SCCA SM2 class. It has placed as high as 3rd at the Pro Solo Championships in Topeka. As well as 5th and 6th at two different National Championships in Topeka. The car has a number of top 3 finishes in the National Tours and Pro's as well as one National Tour win. The car puts out over 400 hp at the wheel, and weighs in at just over 2,600 lbs. Engine management is Apexi PFC programmed for two settings race fuel and street fuel. Choose your weapon.Race fuel is 100 sunoco fuel. Street fuel is 91-93 octane. Both programs have been set up by a professional shop to provide stress free driving. When It was my DD I just ran in street setting. When I went to the track, depending on the type of event I put in Sunoco 100 octane and changed to race setting.

If you are looking for the fastest street legal RX7 you can find, then this is the car. This is what the RX7 was meant to be. Some people saw my previous dyno chart and thought it was from a V8. Do not confuse this car with the single turbo dogs. They are ok when you finally build up the boost. However by the time they do build the boost you will already be at the next corner looking at them in your rear view mirror. This car is built for speed and to handle. With the current rear end gearing I anticipate top speed to max out at approximately 150 but will get there faster than my race 2002 zo6 corvette. My suggestion is if you want this to be a great daily driver to put in stock 4.10 or for more top speed 3.9 gears. There will be no disappointments with this incredible street/race RX7.
I have over $75,000 invested in the car and additional items. I have tried lots of parts and replaced them with better parts. I guarantee that you will never drive a faster or better handling RX7 than this one, ever, period, end of story.
I did not build this car to put out the most power, or to look the best. It was built with the sole purpose of getting from point A to B and going around a corner as fast as possible. If I could save weight and be within the SCCA rules for the class it was done. If I could improve the performance either on the bottom or top with no compromise for what it was designed to do, it was done.
I am sure there are things I am missing but I don't remember. I have removed the race seats, changed from the Full Coil over setup and heavy springs to the system I ran early on in the Street Prepared Class
If you intend to make this your DD and want everything you would need to add a windshield wiper reservoir and plumbing. Car does not have AC. In Idaho I never needed it, and it was not required for racing. Also while car looks outstanding from a few feet away there are some imperfections. Hood is a Vis Carbon Fiber. I do not like the straight look of carbon fiber so it was painted. However there is some bubbling on the hood. Paint does not really like carbon fiber. You will not see any issues from a couple feet away and are not noticeable unless they are pointed out to you.
If you are interested you can look up Allan Densmore SCCA RX7 you will find many pictures as well as how the car did at multiple events. I have not driven the car much since purchasing another car. I hope you love this car as much as I have.
I have full car fax report on hand but do not know how to attach it. Bidders can request the report and I will forward to you.
If you have any questions ask. There are prettier RX7's out there. There are faster RX7's out there but they are set up for straight line driving. This will crush them when you add corners. There are better handling RX7's out there, but there are only a few of them and they are national caliber cars driven by national caliber drivers. If you want a car you will not see another like, handle better than any car you have ever driven, accelerate faster than any street car you have ever driven and not have to pay all the development costs, this is the car. A street car, or a weekend autoxer, or track day lover, this is your ticket. Bid with confidence that you will be getting an incredible car for far less than just the development costs.
Note: I have a car fax report if interested.
