Wheels: Stock aluminum BBS rims
Engine: 1.3L Naturally Aspirated Rotary
Transmission: 5 speed manual
Upgrades:
Light weight aluminum flywheel w/ performance clutch.
Short throw shifter (stock gearshift also included).
Rebuilt transmission.
Cold air cone intake (piped to front of radiator).
Custom Mazdatrix True-Dual exhaust system:
dual pipe header
dual high flow ceramic catalytic converters
high flow mufflers
(dual presilencers included, can be installed in place of the catalytic
converters for increased track performance, not emissions legal)
Adjustable dampening front and rear shocks.
Dual rate lowering springs (front and rear).
Most suspension bearings and bushings have been replaced, including rear
steer eliminator bushings.
Audio:
Focal K2 component speakers installed in doors (tweeter + woofer).
PPI Amp installed under spare tire.
Factory radio included, but not installed.
Problems:
Convertible top has several large rips and probably needs a full replacement.
Some water damage to the interior due to the damaged top.
Air conditioner is installed but disabled (belt removed), operating condition unknown.
Body has some dents and dings, but no structural damage. There is a spider crack in the windshield, driver side, long but not large enough for water to seep through.
Paint is dull in some areas but no significant rust.
The car has been sitting for several years, and as such it is currently not
inspected or ready to be driven. It did pass its last inspection while it was
still in service.
Some cosmetic and general maintenance work will be required to bring it back
into service (fluids/filters/plugs changed, convertible top repaired,
interior cleaned, battery replaced). The car had no major mechanical
problems when it was last driven.
Extras:
Custom fitted car cover.
Custom fitted convertible top boot.
Original springs.
Several other new small parts (spark plugs, oil filters, gaskets, bearings...)
Summary:
This car isn't in perfect condition, but it is mechanically sound, and it
comes with a number of after market enhancements (at least $4k worth) which
make it a rewarding project car for someone looking to restore it.
Pickup: Vehicle has not yet been put back into service and will need to be towed from where it's garaged.
