Description for Mazda RX-7 1986
GR Auto Gallery is pleased to offer this 1986 Mazda RX-7 for your consideration. The second-generation RX-7 still featured the 1.3L rotary engine from the first generation that was loved by many. The smooth-revving engine was mated to a strong shifting 5-speed manual gearbox. This combination of a high rpm engine with a stick shift makes the RX-7 truly a blast to drive. The example offered here is finished in a stunning Arctic Silver Metallic over a grey leather interior.... With the second generation of the RX-7, there were many new features and updates added to the inside of the car. All warning lights were moved to the center console, a shift up light was added into the gauge cluster, and the pop-up lights could now be raised without turning on the lights. All switches for lights and other various controls were completely reinvented. Another change that was introduced for the second generation was a power sunroof. Although not everything was changed, behind the front seats, locking compartments and a large hatchback area remained. Mazda was the company trying to push for the normalization of the rotary engine and despite them not having much success with that goal, they still managed to produce some amazing cars with amazing engines. The RX-7 offered here is one of the cleanest second generations out there, and it is a unique driving experience. Please call or email with any questions or for additional information.
