Description for Mercedes-Benz 300-Series 1990
I have owned this car for twelve years. My son owned it for one year prior to that. There was one owner prior to my son and me owning the car. I've used this as my daily driver all the time that I've had it. It has been an extremely dependable over the years. My wife and I just bought two late model Lexus vehicles and we're selling the 300CE in this auction as well as our 560SEL which you will find in our other auction. That is the reason we are selling these wonderful classic automobiles. The car has always been an Atlanta car and we have the records from day one. The drive train is original with the exception of the transmission, hich was replaced at around 75,000 miles by the original owner under warranty at the dealer. There has been no internal engine or differential work performed. Starts great when the engine is cold. Always starts when hot, ut with some difficulty. This car has always passed emissions testing on the first try. No emissions testing is required anymore.Bids will only be accepted from the 48 contiguous United States of America.
Thank you for checking out my auction and be sure to look at the other classic Mercedes that I have listed as well.

Additional information...
I checked out the two noted failed emissions tests. The earlier one occurred before I owned the car and I'm not sure why it failed. The second one occurred very near the time we bought the car and it was a failed gas cap. I always carried a new one with me after that to future emissions tests but never needed one again.
