For Sale is a gorgeous 82' TDT wagon!!!!!!!!!!!!! Always a California car, t has survived 33 years without a single accident! The all original paint is still very glossy, amp; the dash is without a single crack. There are cracks in the leather seats, hich are firm & without sagging, ut I think it gives the car character. I HAD PLANNED TO KEEP THIS WAGON FOR A LONG TIME, o I went about methodically changing out & replacing all those parts that will be needing attention after 30+ years. I didn't completely finish the job, ut I took care of most of the issues a MB diesel will have after 30 years & left very little(nothing critical) for the new owner to do!!!
ITEMS TAKEN CARE OF:
ALL new vacuum hoses,brake lines, uel lines & return lines, il cooling lines, ilters & fluids(trans, iff, rake coolant, S & hydraulic).
New parts include, ngine mounts, lower motor, xpansion valve, ront & rear flex discs, elf leveling chambers(rear), teering box & steering coupling, tarter motor, uel tank filter, urbo return pipe seal, il filter housing gasket, ew oil pan, ew front brake calipers & all new pads, low plugs & BOZZIO injector nozzles(fastest wagon you'll ever drive). The tires are new Michelins & the rims have been refinished.
The front end suspension has been completely redone, ncluding control arms, rag link, ower arm bushings, rm link bushings and a front end alignment. The car handles like new & tracks straight down the road W/O a hand on the wheel.
I believe the engine & trans to be untouched & in no need of any kind of repair. I will give the exterior a 9 out of 10 for originality. I will rate the interior a 7 out of 10 due to cracks in the leather. Mechanically, he car has a few needs: A/C needs a recharge, heel bearings need replacing(I think they are original), ruise control does not work & light bulbs in shifter console need replacing. Because most items have been redone, 'll give it an 8 of 10 for being a 33 YO car!
IF I WERE LOOKING FOR A WAGON, WOULD TAKE THIS ONE IN A SECOND. BUT THAT'S JUST ME!!!!!!!
