I am placing up for sale my stunning 1981 Mercedes Benz 380 SLC This car is finished in the factory colors of black on black, nd is quite striking as a result. The car appears to have always been a California car and has low mileage and usage wear . Boasting only 72,245 miles from new in it's 34 year history, t runs exactly as a 107 body style coupe should. It is quick upon acceleration and smooth it it's power climb to speed, hile idling quietly and without the shaking and quaking you often see in high mileage examples. I just replaced the fuel distributor and the idle control unit, o it really purrs. Newer Michelin tires all around on bundt chrome wheels, hich do have some pitting, nd there are 5 of them. The glossy black paint look great and has been waxed by me once already, ut a professional buff with a machine to get out a few fine scratches and blemishes would be best. The black lather interior is in very good condition with the only flaw I can see is some light discoloration to the black leather down at the bottom of the driver's seat where the seat back meets the cushion. Currently covered up with a very comfortable pair of black sheepskins, hese seats have been well protected. The dash is flawless and all the gauges and controls work. The one exception being that the rear passenger window does not roll down. Original tool kit present in trunk along with 2 original master keys.
