THE BODY AND TRIM
The exterior of this 1991 Mercedes is in very good to excellent 99.9% rust-free condition with nice shine to the paint finish. Imperfections on the outside of this car include a cracked driver side mirror housing, ome cracking and scuffing on the front spoiler corner along with various minor scratches, nicks and other light blemishes. This is still a very handsome and stately classic Benz roadster!
THE INTERIOR
The interior of this non-smoker car is in good to very good original condition overall. The horn, ights, linkers odometer, peedometer and other gauges are in good working order as are the electric windows and the air blows cold, here is a bit of typical wear on the seat upholstery, he stereo is inop, he convertible top works beautifully and there are only a few light wear spots inside this still solid and comfortable cockpit!
THE DRIVING EXPERIENCE
This 1988 Benz starts up easily and runs quite well with good acceleration, xcellent shifting transmission, trong and straight braking, ight and solid suspension with good steering feel and quiet exhaust. There is a slight wheel shimmy that would benefit form a set of new tires that are worn and mismatched. This is still one very solid and classy driv9ing machine especially on a sunny summer day!
