Description for Mercedes-Benz E-Class 1994

No Reserve!! 1994 Mercedes E320 Convertible. seats 4. Think Spring! Runs and Drives Great! Powerful. 3. 2L Straight 6-Cylinder Engine. Auto Transmission Historic – cheap registration and insurance! Please read the description fully and ensure that you can meet the obligations of this auction before bidding. As is stated above. this is a NO RESERVE auction for a 1994 Mercedes E320 Convertible. These cars are unique. You don’t see many around. It is an excellent grand touring car. The 3. 2L straight-6 engine is a beast! It is very powerful. but still smooth and refined. It will push you back in your seat if you floor it. and certainly has a lot more power than my 1993 XJS with its 4L straight 6. The engine runs smoothly and does not smoke. leak or overheat. and there is no blow-by. It has great oil pressure. normally sitting at 1. 3 – 1. 5 bar at idle. and 2. 5 - 3 bar while driving. All fluids appear normal. The engine fires up almost as soon as you turn the key. but since the cold weather set in. the car is slow to turn over after it has sat overnight. so it may need a new battery soon. The automatic transmission shifts normally through all of its gears. with no slipping. The suspension feels comfortable. it gives a smooth ride. but does not feel bouncy or “floaty” like a Cadillac. The brakes are strong. and the car is equipped with ABS and traction control. This convertible has a back seat that is not just a useless ornament. You can actually seat two people in the rear of the car. though leg room will be a little tight. There is a VA inspection sticker that ran out in September of this year. The exterior of the car is better than average for the age and mileage. This car was previously a certified used Mercedes. The silver paint is in good shape. and still shines. There is no accident damage. but you can find the odd little ding or scratch here or there. as expected for the age. The power top goes up and down normally. The convertible top looks good. but has sustained some fabric damage on the driver’s side. There are a few small tears visible. but even in the hard rains we have had recently. it does not appear to leak. and I’ve even felt for wet spots on the inside liner. but felt none. It will likely need to be replaced at some point. The car has its original factory alloy wheels. The power radio antenna is not going up or down. but all of the lights and the wipers work. Headlight wipers are present on this Mercedes. The gray interior of this car needs a good clean up. It is in decent condition for the age and mileage. but there is definitely some wear and tear. There are no cracks on the dash. and all of the interior lights and electronics seem to work. There are power locks. power seats. power mirrors. power windows and the power top. All of the gauges on the dash work. and there are no warning lights showing. The leather seats do have some cracking. with most wear being on the front seats. The driver’s seat has a small tear on it. The carpets and factory mats have some stains in the front foot wells. mainly a big coffee stain on the driver’s side. There is also some mild cracking in the walnut fascia on the center console. However. the heater works very well. as does the rear defroster. The factory radio works well. There is a CD stacker in the trunk. but I have not tried it out. There is A/C. but I cannot tell if it is blowing cold because of the cold weather. This car is also equipped with driver and passenger airbags. as well as cruise control. My father has been using this Mercedes as his personal driver for the past few months. but now it is too cold to cruise with the top down. and he is ready to move on to a 4wd. It is a good. reliable car. and it is wonderful to drive. This Mercedes would make a great summer car for someone. Christmas is almost here. and winter will be giving way to spring before you know it. so this is a great time to get a convertible. This one is a pleasure to drive. and it is unique. It definitely turns heads when the top is down. but it can be bought for a fraction of the price of an SL series convertible. plus it has a back seat! I would say that this car is in overall average condition for the age and mileage. some parts are better. some are worse. That is my personal opinion. This car is not in showroom condition. it has some faults. and I have described all of those faults that I have found. but it is a nice. reliable car. Please read the description thoroughly. examine all of the pictures and then come see / drive the car in person before you decide to bid.
