Up for sale my S420 a real beauty. I been using only high octane fuel on it and half synthetic oil in it. Great vehicle very comfortable. Bought this vehicle few years back from a female artist from Cape Cod which moved to South America. Car mechanically is good. handles great. suspension is very good. Last year I replaced the rear coil springs with heavy duty original factory ones which made it to sit little higher at the back. Cars paint is very good has few dings the major one is at the rear left taillight which came with it. Also under the drivers mirror has a ding which was caused in my driveway probably by my neighbours lawn mower. Also at left front fender right over the wheel the paint started to bubble up. Easy fix or can replace the fender for few bucks. Interior is in good condition. Came with palomino color. I have changed all seats into black leather and left the carpet the palomino cuz is in excellent shape. No cracks on seats only few light scratches on passengers seat. One thing started to develop recently by mostly sitting on my driveway because I baby it and drive it few times. This steering reservuar leak which is very common with Mercedes W140 before 1997. The steering fluid reservuar leaks and I have to keep adding fluid to it. On these vehicles the reservuar is made of aluminum and has O ring gaskets. They cost les then $20-30 but easy to to replace them. I have no time to deal with this due to working everyday. Whoever is mechanically inclined can do it. Also car has a very light ticking noise from the camshaft oiler tubes which from 1994 and up years are plastic. They have o rings also which need replacement and the light ticking goes away. But that doesnt effect the engine running or producing power. This car brand new costs $98. 000 and drives just like brand new. I have put this car in other selling sites or locally so I reserve the right to end the auction if sells here. Also keep in mind this car is on the road. 'm still driving her and mileage could change slightly. I'm adding pictures of the interior which I had done work combining black seats with palomino color carpet. Also wheels are been professionally coated. The grill has been rebuilt by me removing old aluminum segments and replaced them with stainless steel strips which are lifetime and wont chip. All of these things done it has costed me time and money. Although I couldve done more to it but wish I had a lot of time in my hands. Tires are in good condition. Also car will be sold AS IS and I don't warranty it. For someone that knows these vehicles. this is a golden baby. The buyer is responsible to pick up the car or arrange the shipping or the transport .
