Only 20% of all 280SL's were produced with this transmission according to the research I've done. This has always been a Texas car. never wrecked or repaired according to the owner & our inspection. The white paint was redone during the 1990s and remains in excellent condition with only some minor imperfections. The striking green upholstery has been restored in leather.
