This SL could be used as a daily driver as in runs so well or just used for weekend fun car--you choose. Either way it is worth the money and really fun to drive and it gets lots of attention.

You are looking at a nice 1980 450SL. This SL is for sale due to illness by its older owner and it is priced to sell and it needs to go to a new owner that will get great use from it. The present owner has had the car since 1998 when it had 136,000 miles and now it has 154,000 which means it has been driven only 18k miles in 17 years. It has been garage kept the whole time and any required maintenance has been done. This is a wonderful driver that starts, uns and drives very smoothly that has been maintained and updated as needed. This is a great value!!

Everything on the car works including all lights, orn,cruise control, lock, nd the Climate Control system. I drove it today in 95 degree weather and the A/C was just a little cool which would probably mean it needs a charge as the car has been sitting with the owner sick and hasn't been driven for a while. The only exception is the odometer which quit working today when I puched the trip reset! If you need to call for explanation please do.

The Battery is strong and car starts quickly and the radio was replaced with a Pioneer and two speakers installed in back area(see pic). The electric antenna also works.

The wheels have been upgraded to 15" 560SL Style Chrome. The tires cannot have more than 2-3000 miles on them or less.

The soft Top has been replaced(see pics) and fits well with a clear back window. The Hard Top has been off the car for many years and stored in an outdoor storage area and it fit just fine when put on car to transport it.

The interior seats have been reupholstered and in good condition. The carpet is complete and no tears. There is one very small crack(maybe 1 inch) on the dash very near the windhield and not very noticeable but wanted to mention it.

The car and hard tophad a repaint somewhere along the way and the paint is very nice with just a few very minor scatches.

The underneath of the car(see pics)is not restored but is solid and representative off a car this age that has been taken car of and garage kept.

The car comes with the owners manual, wo keys and two top tools. The jack is also in the battery compartment.
