Description for Mercedes-Benz 200-Series 1959
I am selling a 1959 Mercedes 220s. Open to reasonable offers! the highest offer I received was 10,500 so please keep that in mind. The car was part of a car show in 2001 and then it was stored from 2003 until now. Mileage says 35,920, ut I do not think that is the actual mileage. (I have pictures of what the car looked like in 2001 if interested please email or message me.)
The car was repainted more than 20+ years ago, ut the paint still shines up like it is brand-new. The outside condition is near perfect with a few places where the paint is chipped and a few places where the paint is faded.
The Interior of the car is original and is in immaculate condition! The Backseat looks like it has never been used and then front seats look unused and incredible as well. The carpet in the interior is very well maintained and the wood panels look untouched. The Dashboard needs to be reassembled but I have all of the original parts needed to reassemble it (All Wood pieces, riginal Radio, dometer, peedometer, lock). Please look at the pictures to see exactly what needs to be done to finish the interior.
The car does not currently run because the transmission, cooler, nd a few other parts need to be put in (look at the pictures). All parts are here and original. The only thing that needs to be done is to put the pieces in. In the trunk there are about 2,000 dollars worth of extra parts that were bought in hopes of restoring the car. The previous owner bought a number of parts from Germany and had them imported to America. There are 4 hubcaps and various other parts. The headlights are also there and need to be mounted on the car.
This restoration was not 100% finished, ut with a little work and almost no money, his car would run and turn heads.
There is absolutely no rust on the car and the floor boards are in perfect condition and 100% solid.
