For sale is a 1985 Mercedes Benz 560 SEC. Car has been stored indoors since 2003 when it developed an engine issue. The previous owner began to repair the engine and removed the top end to begin the repair. It is assumed the timing chains are the fault. Due to other obligations the car was never repaired. It has been stored indoors ever since. Car shows 145,460 miles on it. The owner verified everything else was operational at the time. The paint is a 10-footer.There are scratches on the top surfaces due to things being put on the car and dragged across. The underside of the car is in good condition. There are some rust bubbles near the chrome trim due to moisture, ut nothing too bad. The rockers and doorsare not rusted. Car is in good condition for the age.The suspension and all rubber items such as axle boots are in good condition and not deteriorated. All parts that were removed from the engine are included. Car has a clean Michigan title. Would be an excellent car to repair by fixing the engine, r just getting a replacement from an auto recycler.
