Mercedes Benz 190 SL
This 2-door luxury roadster was produced between May 1955 - February 1963.It's first prototype, nternally referred to as W121, as introduced in 1954 at the New York Auto Show.Fifteen months later the production version was displayed at the Geneva Auto Show in 1955.This car belongs to a good friend of mine who has owned it for at least 40 years. We believe he purchased it from the original owner.Car was then sent to a well known Pittsburgh restoration shop, nd then completely restored. We do have some records which will be released to the buyer. At the time, ar was completely dissasembled. Any bad sheet metal was replaced with Meecedes Benz parts. A phenomenal job was done restoring this car. Anything that needed replaced was with genuine Mercedes parts.Car was never in any accident.This car has been sitting in a dry, eated garage for many years. Car was constantly maintained while left in storage.
Car includes original factory jack and toolkit, wners manual, arts books, eys, nd child safety seat.Car currently has Mikuni Corp carburetors in it, ut we do have original carbs.
Car does have a few small knicks in the paint. Two are upfront right by the hood hinges. Looks like someone had the hood off :( 😓 - Please see photos.
This is a very nice example of a 190 SL. A True Classic!!You can just stick her in your living room and let her sit pretty or drive anywhere!I have personally driven this fine automobile, nd you will not be disappointed.
