I discovered this immaculate 1982 Mercedes 300CD in Washington where it has lived most of its life.  This 300CD is the Best Preserved example that I have found in my 25 years as a car dealer.                    The Experian Auto Check report scores this vehicle a "60"with similar vehicles scoring 15-36.  Auto Check and Carfax are only tools and that 60 score only begins to tell the story of this 2 OWNER VEHICLE FROM NEW with only 125,161 miles!                     "Well Preserved" is an understatement!  This Mercedes comes with service records dating back 25 years.  Relentless care was taken by both owners of this vehicle.  Little things like 2 sets of floor mats above the factory mats have kept the carpeting as new.  The leather seating shows a gentle patina and those "wooden ball front seat covers"on the front seat are really nice!  The car comes with lots of goodies including mounted studded rear winter tires that have not been used along with 2 front wheels and tires.  The front extra tires should be replaced.  Also included are all of the owner's manuals (see photo) and ALL OF THE FACTORY SHOP MANUALS! (see photo)                                            The original radio was exchanged for a newer Blaupunkt am/fm tape player.  The antenna is now manually operated. The factory Mercedes wheels on the car are a later design, hich looks great and are a lot easier to keep clean.                          This Mercedes 300CD runs and drives exactly as it should. It starts easily and settles down to a smooth idle. The 5 cylinder turbo diesel accelerates quickly and the 4 speed automatic transmission shifts very smoothly.
