This is quite possibly the NICEST 450 SL on Ebay I technically am the 4th owner of this car, ut really it is a 1 owner who I believe purchased the car from Aristocrat Motors with 3800 miles on it. He owned it for many years and I would guess he changed the oil more often than he drove it. He then passed and left the car to his son who owned it for a few years but did not really drive it. Then sold it to the gentleman I purchased it from. He owned the car about 6 months, e bought it for his wife. She wanted something else so I purchased the car. So lucky for anyone wanting a car like this. With less than 38,000 miles on the car it is like new I have driven it maybe 100 miles, t runs like a dream. NADA prices these cars @ $40,000 in perfect shape and $25,000 average. Now this car is NOT perfect, ut it is way better than average by any standards. Beautiful paint with deep shine. there are a couple of spots that show slight signs of its age (couple small dents) but overall is beautiful. This greenish blue color is very rare and very pretty. Interior is in excellent shape it currently has extra mats on top of the originals that I would say 1st owner purchased so originals are perfect still. This car is RUST FREE the only spot is smaller than a dime (paint bubble) on the front corner it took a while before I even saw it. It still has Mercedes tool kit in rear with bag. I also have the storage rack and cover for removable hardtop that does have defrost built in.The soft top appears to be in perfect shape as well and is dark brown in color. This car has sat a lot over the years and belts and hoses appear to be original or at very least replaced years ago by Mercedes I being a shop owner would recommend that they be replaced before long drive. The only other thing wrong with this car is that it runs a little rich when cold but perfectly when warmed (few minutes) I did not have good info to try and repair also I didn't want to change anything on the car as to keep in its current state.
