This is a gray market 280SL that was from Germany. The did not sell these is the US. This is a special and rare car because of the following. Very cool inline six with a manual transmission. This make the car very fun to drive. The US version was a450SL andhad a 4.5 literv8 with a three speed automatic. This car has the very pretty short wrap around chrome bumpers. Not the very large ugly ones on the American version. No air and manual windows. The car is in good running and driving condition. This car does not leak or burn anything. The oil is nice and clean. The transmission and clutch work just as they should. The car was repainted at some point. Their is some minor imperfection's that I listed in the condition description. This is the closest thing you can find to a pagota with out spending 50 -200 k. Very cool fun car that is very hard to come by. Please call for details 585-200-9488.
