Up for sale is a 1985 Mercedes Benz SL 380. It is a convertible and comes with 2 tops. Inside is light leather interior that is in decent shape. The car is currently not running but would be a GREAT restoration project for someone. I'm not sure why it is not running. It could be small or complex. I have a spare engine if you pick up locally you can take with you as well or you can make arrangements to pay the shipping service you hire to transport the car to also transport the extra engine as well. This is totally up to you. The spare engine is out of a Mercedes 500 car. I was told it will work in this car as well. Again, haven't tried it. The hard top is a burnt orange color and the canvas top is black.
This car does NOT COME WITH A TITLE. I REPEAT NO TITLE!!
With the age of this car it doesn't require a title, nly a bill of sale and I WILL PROVIDE A BILL OF SALE! I had to select a title when listing this however I honestly do not know the condition of the title because I do not have it. It is not needed. Only a bill of sale.
Buyer is responsible for local pickup or all shipping charges. A $500 deposit is due within 24 hours of auction end and the remainder within 7 days. Deposit is non refundable if you back out.
