Selling for father in law. This is a 1972 Mercedes SL 350 4.5 L, utomatic, hort bumper, ard and soft top.I'll tell you what I can see.This is a very solid car for being 43 years old. There is no rust though at all. Only rust found is very little surface rust under back carpet.It had a repaint sometime in its life before 1991. Car still looks very good with some very little paint peeling and chips.Runs and drives OK for a 43 year old car. Some work will be needed. Needs service, il change and tune up.Fuel pump looks to have a small leak will needreplacing.Has a puff of smoke when first start may be valve seals. Couple very small oil leaks underneath. Temperature gauge not working and digits on odometer not working showing 110.000 Dad said should be about 112,000. Priced to sale.An reasonable offer will be considered.
