Classic 1957 Mercedes Ponton Sedan. Less than 105K original miles. Has had much restorative work: new clutch, arb rebuild, eater box restoration, ew tires, hocks, lectrical system is in complete working order. Purchased from original owner 15 years ago (where it had sat in an Oklahoma barn for 20 years). Floorboards were restored & insulated. Nice reupholstery done by previous owner. Original drive train, ody & paint. No known accidents. Was daily driver but not for the past few years. Solid car, eeds a few things: inside driver's side door handle, ent window handles reattached. A front end alignment/steering tightening would improve the ride & an interior gas tank cleaning (from years sitting w/ old gas) would be a good idea - to get rid of the old bits of debris that still show up in the fuel filter & carb jet ports. Will eventually need front brake shoes & maybe even a paint job?
4 speed transmission on the column. Peppy, un car to drive & own. I hate to let it go but don't have the time to take care of it in the way I would like. It should be loved & driven.Will help arrange shipping if necessary. Buyer pays actual shipping costs.
