SOLID CALIFORNIA CHASSIS
FROM LA !
Some rust in the front left floor and in the rear
lower rockers but other than that this body/chassis
will require very little work to be ready for a ground up restoration
Includes the following NEW ( when they were installed years ago)
Front fenders and nose section have been replaced and have no issues
Inner fenders ($1000 replacement cost ) headlight buckets ( $200rc) look new as well
If your car needs new front fenders ( $4000 rc ) a nose section ( $1000 rc) new inner fenders ($1000 rc)
and headlight buckets ($200 rc )the cost from MERCEDES will
set you back well over $6000 and that does not include labor to install which would
average in the $2000 - $3000 range so you would have over $8000 spent just on the front sheet metal
As you will see the value of just the front clip on this car is an easy $6000 alone !
If you have a crashed 230sl 250sl or 280sl this will save yo some big $$$$$$
on a restoration 1
THE BUY NOW PRICE IS A GIVE AWAY !
I have over a million vintage Mercedes parts in inventory ( if we count all the nuts and bolts removed from well over
100 190sl's ( we just sold our 178th 190sl ! ) and over 100 230sl's plus many 250sl's and 280sl's that we have salvaged since 1988
that I need to get out of here in the next 7 years
and I have no time to fix this one up !
I have sold off 6 113's in the last 2 years
3 220se coupes - 1 300se coupe 5 190sl's a 300d Adenauer
as well and this 113 rolling chassis was the last one I had
and was the one I thought of restoring but I have way too many cars .
2 Porsche 914 race cars as well as 2 more 914's
2 Mercedes 280se and 280sel 4.5's - a 250se and a newly acquired 350sl !
As well as many other German autos in stock and I need to move them out .
This rolling chassis is a great investment as is as you may know if this was a 190sl
body chassis I could easily sell it for over $20,000 in this same condition
and with the 113 cars now going to auction and selling for almost the same costs as the 190sl's
I am really surprised someone has not snapped up this car already !
Sure beats tossing money in the STOCK MARKET
