Mecedes 450 SL Convertible

Description for Mercedes-Benz SL-Class 1972

1972 Mercedes Convertible 450 SL, V8, Automatic Transmission, Car hasn't ran in about 2 years, Mechanic thinks that the wire in the distributor is broken and stopping car from firing, Car will turn over but will not start. I took distributor cap off and can see the broken wire, not sure how to fix may need distributor. Body is in good shape, has a few bubbles in hood but over all car looks like its in pretty good shape. Pulled carpet back on the floors and they look good ( see pics). Also pulled carpet back in trunk and that also looks good. ( See Pics). Car is white but it was originally red. Needs new convertible top, Plastic windows in back are gone. Has spoke wheels. Has Mercedes body lit around bottom of car. Power windows work. Car sold as is. Odometer showing 84 K miles, There's a 0 in front of 8 (See Pics). Car is located in Fredericksbur, Virginia 22407.
