1979 Mercedes Benz 300SD - Diesel, WVO, SVO, Biodiesel converted. Vehicle is is excellent condition, with brand new tires just added. Vehicle runs excellent (can send link to video) and can run on straight diesel, B100 biodiesel, Straight vegetable oil and waste vegetable oil (after filtration) through a single tank conversion system. The system adds a secondary fuel filter, additional in-line heater, additional fuel filter and electric heat coils at the intakes to raise the fuel temp prior to entering the tank. This system can be turned off by a switch if running standard diesel. The system was installed out in CA and runs perfectly. The car overall is in great condition for being 37 years old. There are some minor paint blemished, along with a small pressed in dent on the drivers door. Hard to see in the pictures. I am a non-smoker and car has no odor of smoke.
With this vehicle you can literally produce all the free gas you need by filtering WVO from local restaurants (who pay to have it removed). The A/C has been converted to R-134A. I am not sure if the turbo is running correctly. the car has plenty of power, but I don't feel the turbo kicking in. Feel free to ask any questions about the car, and come and see it in person.
