Description for Mercedes-Benz 200-Series 1973
I purchased this car from Mercedes-Benz of West Chester, PA February 26, 2008 with 95,328 miles on it.The car was originally purchased in Jan.'73 from the same dealership, where it was also serviced until it was traded back in, in October 2007.The dealership put over $5,000 into the vehicle to bring it up to PA. safety standards before I bought it.When I purchased it, I drove it from West Chester to Calgary, AB. Canada, loving every minute of it.Upon return to Calgary I had it inspected at NAPA Autopro & it was reported to be in 'very good original condition'.It has been covered & in a garage the entire time I've owned it. As you'll note in one of the photos it now has 99,611 miles on it.We're changing our residence next spring & unfortunately won't have room to keep it garaged as it deserves. It runs very well. All the glass is clean. The interior carpeting is mint throughout and there are no tears in the leather seats.I had the two motor mount bushings replaced last spring.I have documentation for everything discussed herein. She's a beauty and I have lots of extra photos (all taken Sept.14/16.)Hagerty's valuation parameters put a Good version of this vehicle @ US$14,500 and an Excellent vehicle @ US$21,100.US$17,800 is the mid-point, which is exactly where I believe this vehicle should be given the description of both valuation parameters.
I realize most buyers will likely have the vehicle shipped to them, so I have left some meat on the bone to accommodate that.
