You are looking at an Excellent Condition U1550L Double Cab (Doka) Mercedes Benz Unimog Firetruck. This was manufactured on December 19th. 1989 and delivered to a Swedish Fire Department. First registration was in 1990. It has less than 15K miles on it and has been pampered. The Double Cab makes this truck unique. In addition its documentation shows that it was ordered with the factory 210HP. Intercooled 366A Turbo Charged engine. Overall condition is excellent. This Unimog will be imported under the 25 year DOT exemption and therefore is Legal for Road Use in most states. It's about as new of a Unimog that you can get and still be DOT exempt for road use!This is our favorite modern Unimog platform. The modular platform makes the rear portion relatively easy to change out. The rear body of these units can be removed and replaced in less than 45 minutes if you have the equipment (12 bolts and 2-3 electrical connections depending on model).
