Description for Mercedes-Benz 300-Series 1980
Listed for your consideration is my beloved 1980 Mercedes Benz 300SD Turbodiesel sedan. It is garage kept and has approximately 121k miles, the odometer works and it is in very good condition with low miles. It runs very good, and stops very good as well. The shift is firm and the seats are supportive. It comes with 14 inch steel wheels with mercedes hubcaps, 14 inch bundt wheels, and also a set of 17 inch aluminum wheels. The rear windscreen is beginning to become cloudy at the bottom, and the paint in the rear quarters is faded. I am also including a replacement mercedes front windscreen in the purchase price as the one in it currently has a stone chip. I had the local mercedes mechanic give it a tune up when i bought it less than 25k miles ago with new glow plugs, valve adjustment, r134 a/c conversion, and transmission fluid change and flush. The cruise control is nonfunctioning and the vacuum locks do not work. Sometimes the left rear door is hard to open from outside, and the right rear power window sometimes won't work. The drivers door seal needs replaced its torn up, and the steering connector rattles sometimes over bumps. These are all things I intended to repair but never got around to doing them. It was originally titled in Texas, I brought it up several years ago from Florida, I am the third owner, and it has never been driven in the winter in the north. It is virtually rust free as the photos show. Its got euro headlights with new bulbs, and the tires are fair. I would drive it to California tomorrow, its a daily driver that is very reliable. The diesel 116 chassis mercedes benz has always been my dream car, I love driving this automobile but my ever growing family dictates the purchase of a minivan. I think that about covers it, if you have any questions please ask before committing to purchase. Its detailed, clean, and ready for you to enjoy. I've priced it affordably to ensure a quick sale. Its a prime clean body candidate for a collectors restoration or use it as is, as I have. Thank you and have a nice day.
