This beautiful 1960 Mercedes Benz 190SL runs great, idles smoothly, and shifts effortlessly. The engine has been upgraded with two Weber DCOE 40 carburetors fitted with K&N air filters and mounts. It starts instantly and runs smoothly and quietly.
The new canvas top fits perfectly and the car has excellent bias ply white wall tires. The original chrome is very good.
The paintwork on the car is 10 years old and retains its glossy shine.

The car runs and drives perfectly. The carbs are jetted, tuned, and adjusted so there is no typical flat spot at 3000 RPM. It idles quietly at the correct 600RPM and starts right up every time. It cruises smoothly and runs cool. It shifts up and down, from gear to gear without any problem and the clutch pedal is set to the correct freeplay. All the gauges work as they should including the original Keinzle VDO clock. The doors, hood and trunk lid close as they should with even gaps around the panels. The top opens and closes easily and fits well.
There are no signs of rust anywhere. The tires are virtually new with 9/32" of tread. There is no undercoating on the underside.
