Description for Mercedes-Benz SL-Class 1980
What I have for sale is my mint condition 1980 Mercedes-Benz 450SL with 40,237 miles. This is an original European vehicle which means the headlights, tail lights, and bumpers are extremely desirable. The European models have greater collector value as well. This car was originally bought and driven in Germany. It was then brought here in the early 1990's. The exterior is brown with a brown convertible top. The original matching mint condition hard top is included as well (I have it wrapped). The body of the car is in mint condition with only minor blemishes from use, no accidents/dents/rust. The car has never seen the rain, it was always garage kept. The tan leather interior is in perfect condition as well with no cracks/tears/ect. The steering wheel is the desirable vintage Nardi steering wheel (worth $2,000). The radio has been upgraded to the Pioneer Premier sound system with an ipod/aux connection (I have the original radio and a period correct OEM steering wheel). This vehicle is completely up to date with all services. Every single fluid has been changed. The tires have less than 100 miles on them. The brakes and rotors are brand new as well. The suspension bushings, links, and other components have been serviced and replaced. No expense was ever spared with this vehicle. I have records of services, previous bills of sale (I'm the third owner), and other relevant documents. Feel free to contact me to see the vehicle or for any other questions. This is your opportunity to own a pristine example of classic German engineering. Thanks you and good luck bidding.
Just so you know, I have the license plates blurred which explains the unclear areas by the license plates.
