Michael’s Motor Cars is pleased to offer on e-bay an interesting 1971 Mercedes Benz 250 C coupe in a no reserve auction. Classic color combination with older repaint in the original dark brown exterior with tobacco color MB Tex interior. The car is showing 103,425 original miles which is verified by the Pa title. This quickly appreciating classic Mercedes coupe is an excellent candidate for restoration. It has some rust issues that will need to be addressed. Driver’s side rocker panel has significant rust and needs replaced. Driver side floor will also need metal work performed. Left rear trunk floor section behind wheel is rusty. Left front fender has rust around headlight chrome and on lower section by rocker panel. Right front fender has rust bubbles by headlight chrome bezel. Center main floor section is very solid as is the right rocker and floor sections. Front and rear bumper support braces and attachment points are solid. Doors and all wheel arches are very solid. Paint is in nice overall condition for the age. All exterior chrome and stainless is in very nice condition, including the center grill. Front bumper has slight dent on right side as seen in pictures. Rear bumper is unmarked and excellent. Glass, lenses and all exterior rubber is excellent. The original Mercedes hubcaps are in excellent condition. Original front fog lights are also in in excellent condition. Original interior and wood are in very nice, clean condition. Seats have normal wear creases with no tears or rips. All gauges and instruments are correct and in great condition. Non-smoker interior. Door panels, carpeting, headliner and dash are all in very nice original condition. This Mercedes runs and drives well, the engine starts easily and runs however it is smoking. The coupe has four fairly new gas shocks, and four matched Hancook tires with high tread. Transmission shifts smoothly, brakes and suspension are all working correctly.
