This is an extremely clean and well treated 1988 Mercedes Benz 260E Sedan. There has been only one, meticulous owner since new and there are 69,272 original miles on this vehicle.

This Mercedes has beenremarkably well preserved and it runs beautifully. This isn't just a nice vintage Mercedes. This is an unspoiled, unmodified, unaltered original car. I believe all of the paint is original, and there isn't any accident or damage history in the lifetime of this sedan. It has been garaged when not in use, and the paint is in beautiful condition. This 260Eis in fabulous condition - inside, outside, underside, and mechanically. The Mercedes E-Class cars of the eighties were built to provide reliable service for a few hundred thousand miles. This one is showroom worthy, or ready to be driven anywhere.

We performed a road test and safety service on this Mercedes in preparation for sale. The drivetrain in this car runs beautifully. The six-cylinder engine runs strong and smoothly and without any issues. The automatic transmission shifts perfectly. The owner installed a complete matching set of Michelin tires which are showing most of their tread and the brake pads are in excellent condition. The oil and filters were changed this week. I drove this car over 60 miles and it is a pleasure to drive. There aren't any service or warning lights on and this Mercedes is ready to be picked up and driven anywhere. Everything in this works, including the air conditioning, power sunroof, power antenna, power seat, and power seat headrests.

The exterior of this Mercedes is in fabulous condition with nothing other than a few nicks or minor imperfections. The Black finish is super glossy and lustrous over the entire body. There aren't any dents or scratches. There is no body rust at all, and the undercarriage and rocker panels are clean and undamaged. The alloy wheels almost look like new and not chipped or faded which is almost impossible if this car was exposed to the elements.

The interior has been very well maintained and is in nearly perfect condition. The MB Tex is unflawed. The seats and carpeting are super clean and like new. There aren't any rips, holes or wear damage on the seats or carpeting in this Mercedes. All of the trim panels and trim pieces are intact and in beautiful condition. This was a non-smoker owned vehicle. There aren't any smoke odors or burn marks inside this car.

The vehicle history report is clean without any accidents or damage. The title is clear without any liens or encumbrances. This is a beautiful 260E in excellent condition. I would feel comfortable getting in and driving this Mercedes anywhere in this country.

PAYMENT:

A 10% deposit (minimum $500) is due 24 hours of auction completion. We accept Paypal for the deposit only. The balance is due within seven days. Pickup of the vehicle is within ten days of auction completion.

The acceptable methods of payment are Bank Wire Transfer, Certified Bank Check, Direct Deposit or Cash in person. We do not offer financing. Deposit down payments are non refundable. We do not accept trade ins. Any guarantee offer for this vehicle will be voided if payments are not made according to terms.

WARRANTY:

This vehicle will be sold AS-IS with no warranty expressed or implied by the seller. However, the buyer will be offered the option to purchase an additional Extended Service Warranty for all applicable vehicles.

The title is guaranteed to be free and clear. There will be no liens or encumbrances on the title. The stated odometer reading is within +/- 500 miles.

PICK-UP:

Please check with us before scheduling your vehicle pickup.We are not a retail dealership, so it is very important to coordinate your arrival with us before finalizing your plans. We are available from 8AM to 3PM weekdays, and are closed on weekends.

We are approximately 15-minutes from Philadelphia International Airport (PHL), the Amtrak 30th Street Train Station, and the Greyhound Philadelphia Bus Station. We may be able to pick you up at any of these terminals, so please inquire if interested.

REGISTRATION, TITLES & FEES:

Out of state purchasers do not pay any Pennsylvania sales tax. A $60 fee will be added to the final sale price of each online transaction, which will cover document fees and preparation, notarizations, and courier costs.

Temporary Transit Tags are available through the state of PA for $60, which will provide valid registration for a period of 30 days. In order to obtain this tag, please provide proof of insurance for any vehicle that you presently own.

Titles are available to the buyer immediately upon full irrevocable payment, which is performed by bank wire transfer or cash in person. Otherwise, the title will be sent to you after your payments have cleared our bank. Occasionally, a title is still being processed by the state and we will issue free temporary registration until the title is received.

All vehicles we sell on eBay are stored in a separate secured facility and we require that all vehicles be picked up within ten days of auction completion. Storage charges after ten days will be charged at $15/day for cars, and more for trucks and larger vehicles depending on size. (Storage charges will not apply to vehicles scheduled for pickup by a transporter).

We will try to exercise some flexibility to accommodate special requests regarding our terms, if they are placed before the auction ends. We also sell vehicles locally and reserve the right to cancel this auction at any time.
