Description for Mercedes-Benz 200-Series 1973
Rare and classic'73 Mercedes-Benz 280 SE (W108.067 Series). 4.5L v8 M117 Engine | Automatic Transmission | Gas-powered | Sedan. Only 50,310 original miles on the odometer. NOT currently in running condition, but well-kept (very minimal rusting) and has maintained its structural integrity. In need of a loving owner that can restore her back to her original beauty. This is such a beautiful luxury classic car and will make an amazing restoration since it's in such great condition. Sad to let it go, but I don't have the time or resources at the moment to bring it back to life. So, my loss is absolutely your gain.
This 4.5L Sport Edition is a sought-after classic collectible. The 4.5L/230HP V8 cylinder non-diesel engine makes this specific model highly desirable. The body itself is in pretty remarkable condition considering, with very minimal rusting. There is some mild superficial rusting under the hood, on metal parts within the engine bay, and on some metal accents/finishes, but no structural damage. The leather seats, flooring, headliner upholstery, trim, and interior paneling is in need of complete restoration. Loaded with factory options including power steering, power brakes, power windows, air conditioning, matching factory color Mercedes hub cap wheels centers, and a burled walnut dash inlay. Its original paint color is DB 180 silver metallic, which shows some wear and in need of restoring.
Please make me an offer and I will consider, and if you happen to be in the Southern California area, please let me know if you'd like me to show you the car so that you can see for yourself. Thanks for stopping by.
