1984 Mercedes 500SL Roadster - Only 1793 of these 500SLs were produced in 1984 so this car is probably one of the more desired in the Mercedes model 107 family. Only produced in theEuropeanmarket; this car was imported in September of 1984. The 500SL adds the European performance that most Americans never got to experience - IT WAS THE FASTEST 107 MODEL PRODUCED. Apparently much more impressive performance than the 380SL.The trim and chrome on the car will clean up nicely. The dash has a couple of cracks and seats will need covers, but the seat padding seems good. The carpet actually looks like it will clean up nicely as well. The brakes do work. The car was re panted (original color) 20 or so years ago - thepaint is holding up nicely andshould look great (driver quality) with a buff and some touch up. Please see photos in reference to the engine - the complete short block is still in the engine compartment (where it belongs)... the Heads andfuel injection system (and other engine parts) are in the trunk.
