You are looking at a beautiful 1985 Classic MB 300 series diesel turbo. This car is in incredible shape for its age, clean clear notarized montana title ready for transfer. A true classic, if you know these cars and these motors they go forever. This is the last year of this model and all the bugs were worked out and made this a true gem. Please refer to the pictures for the most accurate of description. It is currently stored in a heated garage in billings montana. The car runs, drives, shifts stops and stears wonderfully and everything works. All original except for a kenwood cd player professionally installed. This is an old diesel vehicle, and with that buyer needs to be aware that car is not perfect, does have typical leaks etc and has its age as well obviously. These cars take maintenance and love to keep em going, but with both can go forever, do your research, these cars are amazing.
Car has great paint, but if you look close you can see the clearcoat is starting to go with age, although garaged most of its life as you can tell by the condition of the chrome. Also there is some light rust forming at the back of the rear wheels in the wheel well, again this is light rust, not rusted through and should be an easy fix should someone want to take that on. Lines on the car are all very straight and clean, everything opens and closes tightly and as it should, car feels very sealed. There are a few dings in the car if you look close again at the pictures, but for the most part the body is very clean. The hood pull pin has broken, so when you pop the hood you need to use a small hook tool to open, I just never bought a replacement piece. Interior is in fair shape as shown, no big rips etc, just some fading from the sun over the years, dash does have a crack. Everything functions as it should and works, sunroof doors windows etc!
I have a clean carfax in hand from a few years ago.Original Owners manuals and booklets included as shown in pictures.Multiple recent service receipts and records as included in pictures.Newer windshield is in great shape.New tires installed at les schwab at 180579Newer glow plugs and block heater installed, regular transmission service. Recent valve adjustment.All fuel lines replaced as they were leaking.etc etc etc, car has been taken care of.
Car is listed locally for sale as well, I have the right to cancel auction at anytime for a local sale.Buyer is responsible for pickup, or must arrange their own shipping. There are some local auto shippers out of billings montana that are reputable and I can recommend, just shoot me a message. This is a fun cool car that is an absolute blast to drive, these cars were built incredibly well and will provide years of enjoyment to the next owner. I will try to add pictures as ebay only allows 24. I tried to get the car in multiple lighting so you can get a realistic view of it. In some of the pictures I believe it was too bright and makes the car look worse than it is. Car can be viewed by serious buyers in Billings Montana, just ask to make arrangements.
