Arizona car with no rust. Starts right up. runs smoothly (for a 5 cyl). transmission shifts properly. goes straight down the road with no squeaks or rattles and stops straight ahead smoothly. In The last 1000 miles I have changed the eng oil and filter. both fuel filters. the engine coolant. and air cleaner. I also adjusted the valves. using a new gasket. and cleaned the glow plugs and fuel injectors using new crush washers. The Michelin tires have about 80% tread and show no uneven wear. The seats are good with no tears or defects. The carpets are good with some stains. The vacuum system is good and all the door locks etc work The electric windows work as well as the sunroof. no leaks. I would drive this car anywhere tomorrow without a worry. All that said I still consider this car a fixer. The cruise control doesn't work. the ac compressor doesn't engage although the heater and fan work. The dash lights are out and there is a quarter size stone bruise in the windshield. The hood latch works but needs a new cable. There a two small dents in the body. see pics. and many small paint scratches. The chrome is peeling off the wheels. My title says 0 miles (not actual mileage). and I replaced the speedo gears when I got it. now the mileage reads 218109. There is a goodie box in the trunk containing 2 new Bilstien shocks. Driveshaft center support and bearings. set of brake pads. several service manuals. some oil and fuel filters and a custom set of valve adjusting wrenches. This car gets lots of attention. MY Gramma had one just like it. is it a diesel?. nice ride. etc. etc. This car will be sold to the highest bidder. COD. Happy to deliver but you pay expenses.
