1987 Mercedes 560sl parts car

Description for Mercedes-Benz SL-Class 1987

I purchased this 1987 560sl in May of 2003 from Lancer Motors in Yorba Linda, CA I drove it on a daily basis until the summer of 2013 when the timing chain jumped and seized the engine. I placed the car in storage with the intent of rebuilding or replacing the engine. I lost my storage space and the car has been out in the elements for two years. The sheet metal on the entire car is perfect. No rust. .No dents. The hood, fender, doors, and rear deck are in excellent shape The bumpers are in good condition and the rubber is in good shape. The surface of the car is oxidized but could be brought back. The soft top was replaced but the rear window is cracked and I placed the hard top on it to keep from leaking The interior of the car is in very good condition. Look at the pictures Trunk area is in excellent shape with spare.
I am selling this car as a parts car, however the engine could be replaced and the car could be brought back. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR AN EXCEPTIONAL PARTS CAR THIS IS IT.!!
