LOW RESERVE!!! This auction is for a BEAUTIFUL. RARE. 1983 Mercedes-Benz 300 Series Turbo Charged. Diesel Estate Wagon. 279. 00 Original miles. This car has been in TEXAS since it was ordered and manufactured in Germany and delivered to HOUSTON. I have and will include the ORIGINAL stainless steel plate that was stamped with the original owner's name and information by the Mercedes Benz factory in Germany when the car was SPECIAL ORDERED by a family in HOUSTON. Texas. I have owned this vehicle for over 4 years. This vehicle has been mainly garage kept it's entire life. There is no rust to speak of. Photos show the extent of tiny bb- sized paint chipped spots on front from road debris and the like. There are no dents or scratches to speak of other than what you see in the photos. The pin striping sticker has worn off in some places due to age. There are no broken exterior pieces besides the crackling of the head light surrounds. Replacement of both runs approx $150 and can be found on ebaymotors. The paint is crackling in some places on the exterior. but is still very white and clean with hardly any scratches or dents. There is just NO BODY DAMAGE. The CHROME is in EXCELLENT condition. Chrome roof racks are in PERFECT condition and very hard to find. This car has great lines!! You just don't see these babies on the road in this condition. BRAND NEW WINDSHIELD with less than 100 miles since it was replaced!! Tinted windows all the way around. Tires are all in good shape with plenty of wear left. 4 original Mercedes wheels with a 5th spare that matches in cargo area. Comes with it's original tool kit. jacks. and first aid kit!!! The interior is in great condition for a vehicle of this age. You won't find another listed with nicer interior. There are ZERO tears or RIPS or STAINS on these beautiful Palomino seats and headrests. The carpet is in good condition as well with very little staining. mainly limited to the cargo area. Headliner is in perfect condition. Door panels are all in great condition and covered in the beautiful Palomino covering. There are no missing pieces inside or outside of this vehicle. Comes with a rare and original cargo separation net (see photos) that retracts easily when not in use. Great for keeping pets in the cargo area if needed. This car is driven weekly and was driven daily up until a few weeks ago. Great fuel economy!!!! Approx. 28 mpg-35 mpg!!! It cranks on the first turn. every time. All lights. interior and exterior. including golden fog lights work perfectly. Safety hazards and selective side parking lights all in good working order. Has A/C and Heater. A/C and Heat vent adjusters are all intact and fully adjustable. Power windows all work as they should. All power locks in good working order. Cruise control works occasionally. Brand new A/C belt. Brand new power steering belt. Fresh oil change. All seat belts work and retract. The dash board is in great condition!!!! Original Zambizi woodgrain trim is all pristine. Brand new battery replaced 7 days ago. All door seals are in good shape and there are no leaks. All emblems are intact and in good condition. Original floor mats included along with black rubber aftermarket set. Radio works (aftermarket). Windshield washers work sometimes. Seat recline and positioning in good working order. Horn works perfect. This car has always passed all state inspections requirements. Rear lift gate sometimes fails to stay open for long periods of time. Antenna does not retract as it should and remains in the "up" position. I have done my best to accurately describe this vehicle to the best of my knowledge and capability.
