Description for Mercedes-Benz 300-Series 1981

1990 Mercedes-Benz
AWD Wagon

LOW reserve !! ...BID TO WIN !!
The proven workhorse of the Benz family, as time goes
on, more people are coming back to these Wagons because
they have proven to go almost forever if taken care of.
This one has been very well maintained and kept up and
has just a nich over 248k on it. Lucky for the next owners
its an Arizona vehicle so expect NO RUST OR ROT where you
normally find it on Mercedes this old.Cant verify 100%
but looking closely all over the car, no signs of any repaint,
previous damage etc anywhere.

We suggest viewing our auction on normal large monitors
and or tablet to get the most out of our large easy to view pics.
Desert Survivor being sold by a very legit Ebay seller
If you have any concerns about our vehicle, please ask or dont
bid on it. Dont wait till after you win and then make up stuff on
wondering if we are real or not.
FEEDBACK !!! if you cant take 10 min to read thru our feedback
on the cars we have sold here over the last 10 yrs, then you also
shouldnt be bidding on our auctions. Ebay offers our Feedback rating
for a reason,... try trusting it.
This Benz RARE AWD wagon runs and drives well like youd
expect for a Benz. Like most owners, its been well taken
care of mechanically its whole life because the car has
been well used over the yrs, it just doesnt look it.
248xxx k miles on it while the car has spent almost its whole
life in the dry Az desert or a garage. Interior shows very well
as youll see in the pics. Not even a crack in the dash.
Body, chrome and stainless in amazing shape for its age.
The 4matic light has been On on the dash for a few months
now. Not sure why, but Ive been driving it daily with no issues.
I recently replaced 1 of the fuel pumps and 1 of the rear hi-pressure
fuel lines had finally dry-rot and it was replaced too. Also I can
get the parking lights to come on, but not the headlights for some
reason. Not sure why. Rest all of the lights are working fine.
I honestly cant believe the power this car has from light to light
and on the hwy, its really a rocket. Never realized these Benz had
things so well done. Plenty of torque on hand for sure.
TRANS feels and shifts fine, had it on the hwy at 85 and above !

Excellent Investment / Clean Clear Arizona Title

apparently some people
who use ebay arent smart enough to understand the rules.
So if you have under 10 feedbacks, Ill be emailing you if you bid to
make sure you are legit, if we do please reply or we will cancel your bid.
Up for Auction: LOW FAIR RESERVE !!!

DRIVETRAIN: factory 6 cyl with an AWD auto trans and
basic rearend. Runs, starts and drives nice. Lots of power on
tap, and reliability for years to come as well. Trans shifts and
feels great as well. Not sure why the lite on the dash is on.
It has always been well maintained and runs like it. Motor sounds
and runs great. Lots of power and clean under the hood.
I did see some oil leakage under the car when it was on the lift
but being an older non restored car, this is not totally uncommon.
See pics.
INTERIOR: take a look at the pics, the tan interior shows
very well for its age. The driver seat is NOT crushed from age as
the owner was a smaller lady who drove it all the time. Factory
radio either isnt working, or I havent figured out how to turn it
on... (power antenna not working). All PW work and were tinted
yrs ago like most cars here in Az saving it from alot of damage.
Carpets in nice shape. Yes, the heat has gotten to the wood inserts
some, but rest of the interior has done well over the yrs. The
dash is Not cracked and has a cover for protection. SEE PICS !
Its a 35+ yr old car, but surely doesnt show or feel it.
Not sure why the dashlights are not working, unless they are dimmed.
Ill check them tomorrow along with the fuses.
Courtesy inetior lights all work. Rear hatch doesnt want to stay up
on its own. Heater and wipers work.

EXTERIOR:the body very straight for its age, but this is a 99%
rust FREE survivor. Original sheetmetal the best I can tell from
1981. The bumpers are in really nice shape too and original.
The front grill and surrounds are in nice shape too.
Rust or rot I should say is almost non existent on the body or
under the car. Very cool factory color combo in and out.
Much nicer by comparison to most Mercedes this old living on the
Eastcoast. Chrome in nice shape outside. (EXCEPT for the chrome
in the wheels, they are not in great shape) Paint is in nice shape
for what I think is original. Min dings and no dents in the car.
That being said the paint is great for a driver, it could probably
use a nice polish and detail to bring most of its shine back.

SUSPENSION:the suspension looks normal from what I can see
Does have the rear factory air ride which is nice.
Disc brakes all around. No wacky mods and surface rust at
best. Makes coming apart a breeze. Its been maintained well and
could feel no signs of excessive wear while tooling it around
town. Tires are decent, but not new, on the factory
alloy wheels.
No rust under the car, making taking this car apart, almost a breeze !!

There you go, probably The BEST represented Benz's on Ebay.

Shows you all the good as well as any bad.
We put a lot of time and effort in marketing our cars.
People wait months for a car this solid to come up for sale
and even if you have to pay shipping to your area, it still beats
paying a body shop to hopefully fix a rusty car forever.
Having as much as the original steel on a non restored car these
speaks volumes. Survivors are getting harder to find !
Also, if you buy a car thats been "restored", who knows what surprises are hidden under new paint or thick undercoating.
People are flipping cars all the time when most of the jobs are
fast, for a quick buck and quality suffers.

Email us with ANY questions before you bid please

Our Impeccable FEEDBACK speaks for itself. We show you as
much feasibly possible via pics.
Dont let auctions withlittle to no pics try to fool you.
If they cant take the time to take pics of areas under the car they
are selling, maybe its not the best car to buy long distance.
With other auctions, you really dont know what to expect
until you take the car apart. While we go over our cars ALL OVER
with great pics to help making your decision easier.
