Hydraulic system serviced and functioning!Air suspension fully functional, airs up and down as it should. Holds air for extended periods of time, I did notice that from being parked inside heated garage to going outside (in January), the change in temperature and air pressure forced it to sit down and lose air. Once started, it rose back up without issue and held again. This is normal from what I have read on M100 forum and speaking to other 600 owners at meets.
Can be driven and used, or with cosmetic refreshing, ready to be shown. Or can be left original as it sits for future preservation class winner!
Wood is nice and preserved with exception of top of the dash wood trim near instrument cluster against the windshield, it is separating and needing restoring, 1 piece on rear passenger door also needing replacement/restoring.
Original Becker Radio worksOutside temp gauge and clock not functional
Car runs and drives, new brakes, new plugs and distributor cap/rotor.
All glass is excellent with no cracks or chips
Paint is original and never before painted. Has some scratches and swirling in the paint, my plans were to do a new full bare metal paint job and detail of the engine, but a new venture I am seeking requires I sell this Rare 600.
I looked for 2 years before I came across this car, and although not the most detailed, it was the most solid, honest and original car I had found and that is what makes it special. It comes from a private collector in Texas who had the car for over 10 years since he had purchased it from the original owners family back in the mid to late 90s.
Car is as is where is, 54 year old car, has no warranties or guarantees implied or otherwise. All sales final and no returns/refunds.
