Description for Mercedes-Benz 200-Series 1972
HiI bought this vehicle about two and half years ago from the son of the owner who had passed away several years ago and left the car for the son and was parked for many years at the sons factory,Vehicle was then towed in to me and after putting a battery and fresh gas i was able to crank the vehicle and start the car.so i parked the vehicle with hopes that some day i get to it and restore it or buy a car that is in need of the parts or power train of this car or interior of this car,But i collect mostly Bmw's and have no use for this car.I have not tried to start it or do anything with it ever since so not sure of condition now .You could restore this car or part it out and sell the parts or use this car as donar car to make another car complete.I was going to take the complete baker radio out and sell it on eBay separately for about $700 dollars but i figured some one could save this car ratter than parting it out.seats are in good condition with a exception of a tear on driver's seat, dash is in great shape and has no cracks.wood trims need to be redone. When i bought the car the body had the bid dent on the left rear quarter panel and by right rear trunk area, but had no rust and only faded paint so to save the body we spray painted the body to protect it from rusting.Body has Zero rust from what i can see but i never lifted the vehicle to check under carriage.Glasses are in good condition and have zero cracks.most of the moldings and chrome pieces are there i did not take any out of the car.I will not guarantee anything but i do invite you to come in and inspect it if you like before you bid on it or before auction ends.I will not allow inspection after the auction ends or after you already bought it.once you buy it vehicle is yours and there will be no inspection.all inspections and questions prior to bidding or prior to the end of the auction. No exceptions.the last time i started the car was about two years ago and i moved it around the parking lot .transmission had some leaks and since the car was sitting for many years i did not feel safe nor the car was road worth to take it on the road.I will make myself available for shipping company to pick up the ca, I will not be able to help get the car started or repaired you need to bring your own jumper/ tools and mechanic to test the car if needed and no i do not have a shop, I Only collect some classic cars for my own as hobby and work full time else where. Please ask any questions prior to bidding please make sure funds are available prior to biddin, all bidders have the wright to have a third party to inspect the car prior to bidding and or prior to the end of the auctio, there will be no inspection after the end of the auctio, all deposits are none refundable and there are no warranties of any kin,I honestly have tried to describe the car to the best of my knowledge and hopefully I did not miss anything all bidders with zero feedback need to contact me before bidding on the item or I will be cancelling their bids.
buyer is responsible for picking up the vehicle and the transportation insuranc, buyer is responsible to run their own history reports from privately owned companies such as car fax auto check etc sellers assumes no responsibility against transportation how ever ill be more that happy to make myself available for transportation company to pick up the car .
once again please ask any questions before bidding on the item .
