THE OVERVIEW
Offered for an appreciating new owner at NO RESERVE is this rare classic 1979 Mercedes Benz 300CD coupe!
Finished in "Ivory white" over saddle MB TEX interior, this 40 year-old classic Benz features an excellent running five cylinder NON-turbo diesel engine mated to the factory automatic transmission, electric windows, original hub caps on excellent Yokohama tires, Sanyo cassette stereo and more. This nice original specimenis being sold with clear and clean California title, current registration and....it is a great deal for about the cost of the sales tax alone on a new C250 Benz!

THE BODY AND TRIM
This exterior of this 1979 Mercedes Benz is in fair to good condition overall witha deep lustrous overall shine to the paint finish. There is a sizeable dent on the left rear panel behind the right door, another softly dented area on the opposite side, one mismatched wheel cover [slightly darker color], along with a few corrosion bubbled areas and minor nicks and scratches on what looks like it may be the original paint on this forty year old classic coupe! Overall I would call this is very nice presentable "ten-footer"!

THE INTERIOR
As I hope is articulated in the photos, the interior of this '79 300cd is in fairly good original condition overall with all gauges in excellent working order. Imperfections inside this very original cockpit include poor radio reception, missing door panel pockets, hvac system not working/ac not functioning, a small chunk missing from the driver seat top corner, a few dashcracks, misaligned glovebox door, dash fascia wood pieces missing, badly worn bottom driver's mat carpet section [I have a set of later model mates in the car now]. Overall this is a still cool classic cockpit.
