Very clean, original and stock Mercedes 300TE, pre-facelift wagon! No wiring loom issues here as in the face-lifted car. This meticulously kept s124 series wagon is the last of the “real” Mercedes, before the accountants slashed the budgets and build quality. Highly optioned from new with electric windows, mirrors, sunroof, optional twin airbags, orthopedic electric seats, electric headrests, unmarked near new MB Tex interior, cimate control AC. Everything works, even the cruise control. It has received a full mechanical and cosmetic rolling restoration competed over the last six years with receipts totaling over $25k - see itemized list below. Original rims refurbished and freshly powder coated, brand new front and rear tail lights, bumper inserts, aerial, interior Zebrano wood and shifter, new door hinges, tailgate hydraulics, Bluetooth enabled original Becker stereo head unit in Zebrana wood,new radiator, alternator, suspension, brakes, tires (2018). A stylish, safe and practical classic that will last for decades to come and a much more enjoyable and refined engine than the noisy diesel. Only 131k miles, averaging just 4333 miles a year. 3 owner car originally ordered new in Key West FL, then spent most of its pampered life in the Hamptons NY with its second owner, a family friend of mine. Mostly original paint has light patina which I prefer to keep rather than a full respray. A classic car like this is only original once. No rust! No low ball offers, tire kickers, I will not sell to a BaT flipper, so don’t waste your or my time as I am perfectly happy to keep and enjoy this wagon for a few more years. I am only selling this as I have 7 cars and would like an old woody wagon, so I need to make room in the barn.
