Offered at a great price is the pictured 1989 Mercedes 560slThis is the last year built of the R107 and looked like it was very well maintained
This Mercedes 560sl as shown has no rust issuesIt is a champagne light gold color and has lost the clear coat (peeling,peeled)It had the nice color and interior combo,but has lost the shine on the paint
Interior is beautiful and is of Palomino colorDoors,trims and seats are all in a very nice matching toneSeats had been very nicely reupholstered with the mercedes tex
No crack in the Dash and it comes with a wood steering wheel (will be sentto buyer ) since the original will be mounted on vehicle for the saleNo signs of accident and the pictures shows clearly the two very small dents on this vehicle with very light imperfections
It has Lorinser wheels 17" with new tires (right rear has small dent giving slight shake around 50 to 60)
This is a convertible vehicle showing high milesI still believe that some mileage shown was a result of some previous owner thathad the non working cluster replaced by a higher mileage at some timeThese clusters usually quit working around 140 K miles
There is no signs of engine defects,and appears mechanically sound
Very good running vehicle with what appears to be common on these CISfuel injection >>>The rpm is so low,that the engine would go off on a red light(will restart right away) or during a sudden stopThe fuel tank was sent out for cleaning (was not even dirty) new fuel filter was added but did the same thing again..Then Fuel injectors were all replaced new with ignition amp and other sensors,but no change in situation..?
A newer Radio was fitted (non hooked up) and comes with the PIN (glove box)The A/C does not work,and will need attention..Convertible top is in good condition,No rips >>except for the rear faded windowA hard top will be provided with the sale (it is gold in a non matching color)
