1972 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class 350sl like 450sl R107. This early model (October 1971 factory date) 10704412001610 vinhas the 4.5 liter powerful M117 V8 engine, 3 speed automatic and no cat converter so you get all the estimated 230 HP. Small Euro bumpers, disc brakes all around, very nice factory wheels and hubcaps. Manual windows. Spare wheel and jack.It has the nice chrome shifter base only featured on the first 2100 cars I read, same as the last Pagoda cars. Interior is in very nice shape with the black MB tex seats, clean carpet and no crack on dash. All gauges work. Previous owner installed new fuel pump and fuel tank. Work done includes New Ansa center muffler, water pump 2021, brake master 2021, brake pads, Bilstein front and rear shocks, new chain tensioner 2021. Mann air filter and oil change w liqui moly oil. New spark plug wires, New atf hoses and new 205r14 Lionhart tires fitted last month with correct pressure, 30 front, 36 rear.Nice Becker radio recently sourced to remove ugly modern one but not wired. We have not tackled the AC which will need converting to r134 freon. I have the correct filter dryer part.The SL starts, drives and brakes great and transmission shifts well, Only ethanol free gas is used.wipers work, all gauges work. Headlights work, turning signals work. Horn, heater. door buzzer.Paint is old and has a few blemishes but is still very acceptable, chrome is good, bumpers look nice with good rubber.fuse issue on instrument lights needs sorting. Soft top is present. I have the stand for the hard top. Factory tools and books as per photos are in trunk. I have owned it 3 years but have two other classic cars that need work.Clear Louisiana title. Reasonable reserve.
