Up for sale is the pinnacle of luxury and success in the 90's, a black w140 S Class in near perfect/ new condition.

The car was originally bought in new in Anchorage Alaska by most likely an oil executive, but a year into it's life, it moved down to palm springs California. Afterwards, it lived it's life in various collections in and about the east coast before being purchased by me in a trade, and being moved back to California. All in all, it has 5 previous owners, but has been extreamly well maintained with a full service history.
Mechanically, the car is perfect, with everything working and all preventive maintenance done within the past 2 years. Recent work includes a basic oil service. The 500SEL drives excellently, with no squeaks, rattles, or any kind of odd behaviours. Car has full records from new, either in the carfax or in paper format.

Electrically, the car is perfect as well with everything working, no electrical gremlins larking within. Pre-1993 500s didn't have bio degradable wiring harnesses so this will cause no issues for you in the future.

Cosmetically, the car is near perfect, there's one scratch on the front bumper but otherwise, there are no scratches or dents. The interior is spotless, with the exception of some very light wear on the driver's side seat bolster. The passenger and rear seats appear almost unused.

Additionally, the car has full factory literature, clean carfax and has been recently smogged.
