1982 Mercedes-Benz 300-Series. 300SD Turbo Diesel. Car is running and I still use often. Odometer stopped working this summer. AC works. as does heat but only through the defrost vents. A common Mercedes issue. New Tires, battery,. Heat control unit replaced about 3 years ago. This is a reliable car. Starts every time with a click of the starter even in cold weather. We replaced a few glow plugs when we did the heat control. This car has a few annoy little issues that have no affect on it's running. Passenger power seat stuck forward. Passenger window stuck in the closed position. It doesn't open. Radio works. Drivers power seat and window works. Rear windows works. Transmission will surge slightly when cold going from 1st to 2nd. Only does it in cold weather. It's been like that since I got is 4 years ago. Transmission shop said common problem when seal are old. Cruise control and Tachometer not working. Common issue with these. This is not a collector car. This is a solid 2nd or 3rd car. No reserve auction.
