I just got this gorgeous 1983 Mercedes from the original owner to sell here on Ebay. It has been pampered and loved from day one and it comes with all the records and receipts as proof. This car has always been garaged and has only done 180k miles in 40 years of well maintained service. Actually low mileage for this kind of classic Mercedes diesel... You often see them with 500k miles and still running well.Mercedes only made 8007 of the turbo diesel coupes for sale in North America and there are just not that many left in this condition and low miles.This car was finished in the rare factory color of "Manila Beige" (MB color code 681) with Palomino color MB-Tex interior. There are no dings or dents on this car and the paint still shines like on a new car. The original owner had sheepskin covers on the seats and they still look and feel like new. There are no rips or tears and not even the usual wear on the back support. The dashboard and the wood accents are still in wonderful shape as the many extra pictures will show. The carpets, the door panels and the headliner are clean.All the gauges are working fine. All the windows, sunroof, power door locks, power antenna, original radio, lights and switches work as they should. This is amazing on a 40 year old classic car. Mercedes really made these cars well and this one stands out. I got compliments on it every time i took it out. The best thing on this car is the way it drives. It has been maintained and adjusted well. There is plenty of power in town and on the freeway. It always starts up right away and shifts smoothly through all the gears. You can comfortably cruise with 85-90 mph all day long while still getting 27mpg of diesel. This car was built in a time when they made cars to last a lifetime and not just until the next years model comes along. If you keep maintaining this car properly, there is no reason it should not still be humming along in 30 years from now. I did upload many more pictures just below this description.
